Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al Thani visited the water quality laboratory of Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) in Al Duhail.
During the visit, HE the Prime Ministers received a brief on the efforts exerted to monitor and control the quality of drinking water and the inspection standards. His Excellency also received a detailed brief on the tests done for drinking water samples and the equipment used which are the most advanced in the world.
His Excellency also watched two presentations on Kahramaa's efforts in ensuring drinking water quality and the new water quality laboratory project being built in Al Thumama, according to the highest specifications and international quality standards.
The Prime Minister and Minister of Interior praised the efforts exerted by Kahramaa to ensure the water quality, stressing the importance of continuing to exert further efforts and develop the monitoring mechanism to ensure the continuous supply of drinking water in the State of Qatar in compliance with the highest international standards and specifications.
