Lexus has once again achieved success in the 2019 Golden Stirring Awards, the premier annual competition, winning the award of the ‘Best Urban Cross Over’ for the Lexus UX.
On behalf of AAB, Firas Mufti, Senior Marketing Manager, received the award.
The UX has an evolutionary design that closely echoes Lexus’s current models. The first thing that jumps out is the front end. It sports a large and aggressive spindle grille with corner cuts, thin headlights that include a unique LED strip, and a sharply curved hood.
UX was the first ever Lexus vehicle engineered by a lady Chief Engineer Chika Kako. There are unique side skirts, a coupe like roofline and a 17-inch alloy wheels (18 inch on the F-Sport trim levels).
The UX excels at the cabin design. The interior is completed to a high specification and bring exceptional quality unique to the segment.
Imbuing a youthful appeal to its lineup, Lexus UX is an innovative addition to the Luxury Compact Crossover segment. The all-new model combines the brand’s latest luxury offerings and safety technologies in a package that combines new charismatic design elements and ultra-efficient powertrains.
While the UX name is derived from the guiding concept of the vehicle’s design team and describes the vehicle’s mission as Urban + X-over (crossover), the UX is engineered to deliver a quick and engaging driving experience with a Lexus-smooth demeanour, making it a unique entry in the luxury compact crossover segment.
The UX is the first Lexus vehicle to be constructed on the new Global Architecture Compact (GA-C) platform. With a lightweight yet super-rigid structure, extremely low centre of gravity, and a refined suspension tuning, the GA-C platform provides the UX with exemplary handling agility and ride comfort, along with a distinctive driving personality.
Lexus, known for its certified and high quality vehicles, offers the best after sales services of 8 service centres across Qatar where also some of the locations operate seven days a week.
