POLICE College, in cooperation with Qatar Post, launched the first special postage stamp for the college to document the graduation of its first batch of students who were honoured earlier this year.
Last January, the Police College honoured its first batch of 108 police graduates from the State of Qatar, Kuwait, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Palestine and the Republic of Yemen.
Advisor to HE the Minister of Interior and Vice-President of the Supreme Council of the Police College Major-General Dr Abdullah Yousuf al Mal said the stamp will be used in correspondence by the State to different parts of the world.
He praised the efforts and dedication of the staff members to serve the college.
Chairman and Managing Director of Qatar Post Faleh Mohammed al Nuaimi said the launch of this stamp stems from Qatar Post’s role to document important events in the country. He said the stamp commemorates the graduation of the first batch of students of the Police College.
