Students and teachers of Noble International School observed the World Ozone Day on Monday, as the world marked 32 years of efforts for conservation of the ozone layer.
Keen and enthusiastic students gathered for assemblies, speeches, quiz competitions, where they learned about the importance of protecting the ozone layer.
Attractive exhibits and decorations around the school greatly inspired the children, instilling in them the feeling to help preserve the ozone layer and to help reduce products that add to its depletion.
The school’s principal Shibu Abdul Rasheed, while speaking on the occasion, urged the students to adopt possible methods in the day-to-day lives, to help curb the relesse of CFCs.
The school’s vice principals Jayamon Joy and Robin K Jose actively contributed to the gathering by sharing thoughts on the subject.
Head of Section Shihabhudheen praised each and every person who is indirectly contributing to the preservation of the ozone layer. Heads of sections Nizar K and Indira Menon were also present on the occasion.
