Minister of State for Energy Affairs and the Managing Director and CEO of Qatar Petroleum HE Saad bin Sherida al Kaabi has hailed Nebras Power’s five years of successful investing in power generation projects in international markets.
Kaabi confirmed his support for Nebras Power, which stems from the importance of supporting Qatari companies in helping them to achieve the highest levels of success and to increase their competitiveness in their industries.
He also urged the executive management to continue to set benchmarks and to achieve the mission envisioned by its stakeholders and partners.
Kaabi was speaking at a meeting held by Nebras to mark the company’s five years of incorporation, the company said in a statement on Saturday.
The meeting was attended by Fahad bin Hamad al Muhannadi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nebras Power and Khaled Mohamed Jolo, CEO of Nebras Power, and the Nebras executive team.
Fahad said he was pleased with Nebras Power’s achievements in its short history, during which it attained the objectives set by the board of directors and the goals of its founders.
Khaled remarked on the milestones reached by the company over the course of five years at various levels, including the financial level, where the company achieved a steady increase in profits and assets.
He briefed about the expansion of Nebras’ investment portfolio, which has climbed precipitously to 14 assets in seven countries.
Nebras Power has also witnessed significant accomplishments in its strategic partnerships with international developers and financial institutions that are operating in the power generation and water desalination sectors.
